Mr. Arcadie Sobetkii is the Scientific Director at SC MGM Star Construct SRL, a private company, based in Bucharest, Romania, specialized in physical and chemical vacuum deposition, lithography technology, optical manufacturing and R&D activities.
He studied Physics with a specialization in semiconductor materials at Moldova State University.
His professional focus includes: Use of modern vacuum equipment, lithography, optics, and control systems; Experience in vacuum deposition (thermal, e-gun, DC-RF-Pulse-HiPIMS sputtering, cathodic-arc, PECVD, RIE); Characterization of samples and thin films through spectrophotometry, interferometry, electrical, tribological, mechanical, and durability testing; Experience in technological processes for microelectronic component processing and optical component manufacturing.
Mr. Arcadie Sobetkii participates in multiple European and national research projects: finished - 16 projects, 16 new proposals, in contracting phase - 2 projects and 13 in progress projects, including 3 HORIZON-MSCA projects: NANOEMCA - Confined nanoreactors for environmental, medical and catalytic applications, ARTVOC - Volatolomics approaches for improving success rates of in-vitro fertilization and VOLATEVS - Analysis of the volatile organic compounds emitted by extracellular vesicles for disease diagnosis.
