Leonardo Piccinetti is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Europe for Business Ltd (UK) and a PhD researcher at the University of Chester. With over 25 years of expertise in EU programme management, he focuses on sustainability and supports businesses in commercialising innovations through non-dilutive funding sources such as Horizon Europe. His organisation designs EU project methodologies, delivers tailored training workshops, and fosters transnational partnerships that advance sustainable practices aligned with the EU Green Deal. Leonardo has authored 26 publications on circular economy and innovation management, contributing to the scientific and policy dialogue on sustainable transformation. He has led major initiatives in water innovation, circular economy, and green entrepreneurship, empowering SMEs through strategic guidance, process optimisation, and funding solutions. Leonardo holds advanced credentials from MIT Professional Education (LCA, 2025), Trinity College Dublin (Advanced LCA, 2024), and Munster Technological University (Circular Economy, 2023), and completed Imperial College’s Venture Capital programme on startup funding and investment strategies.
