Angela Daniela LA ROSA
Angela Daniela La Rosa is a Full Professor of Sustainable Manufacturing at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Department of Manufacturing and Civil Engineering | IVB. She holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry (1994), a PhD in Polymer Composites (2001), and has extensive experience in environmental impact assessment, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)/Life Cycle Costing (LCC). Her research focuses on sustainable manufacturing, aiming to contribute to the SDGs goals by acting along the entire value chain, starting with next-generation feedstocks and ending with fully recyclable products, increasing the availability of renewable carbon-based complex structures, their circularity, and addressing the zero-pollution goal. She has published several articles on LCA of polymers and polymer composites, and other manufacturing processes, and teaches LCA to engineering students at all levels. She is the author of over 70 articles in journals and conference proceedings (H-index: 26, Google Scholar 2025).
