Carmen DELEANU
Dr. Carmen DELEANU holds a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering at POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest in 2013.
With extensive experience in research and development, her work focuses on environmental engineering, particularly on the removal of heavy metals from aqueous solutions and wastewater through adsorption and ion-exchange processes. She has also contributed to the development of new polymer-based products for wastewater treatment.
She participated in 6 national research projects, and she is author or co-author of more then 15 research papers.
She serves as a Head of Laboratory at KEMCRISTAL, then as a Standardisation Expert at Romanian Standardization Association (ASRO), as technical evaluator for water and soil laboratories in collaboration with the Romanian Accreditation Association (RENAR). She is also the President of the Water Quality Committee CT 52 within the ASRO.
