The meeting brought together Milton Rosero Moreano, CEO of the ClayOMICs spin-off and Professor of Chemistry at the University of Caldas; Liliana Moncayo Martínez, Laboratory Coordinator at the University of Caldas; and Héctor Fabio Torres, PhD in Design and Creation, University of Caldas. The Romanian team was represented by Aristofan Teisanu, Mihai Iordoc, Mohammed Alqasim Alsabti and Alaa Abou Harab, from MGM Star Construct SRL. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Habil. Claudia Maria Simonescu from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Manager of the NANOEMCA project.
Discussions focused on key NANOEMCA research areas, including nanomaterials, functional materials, environmental remediation, sensors, electrodes and advanced materials. Participants also exchanged experiences on research mobility, international cooperation and project coordination.
An important outcome of the meeting was the identification of potential areas for future collaboration with Colombian and other international institutions, strengthening the NANOEMCA research network and creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and joint research activities.
The meeting highlights the value of MSCA Staff Exchanges in connecting researchers, academia and industry across borders, supporting knowledge transfer and fostering long-term scientific partnerships and innovation.
