During the meeting, Dr. Eugenia Eftimie Totu presented the main scientific objectives of the NANOEMCA project and outlined the staff mobility activities planned within the project framework. Particular attention was given to the project’s research priorities, expected outcomes, goals and the contributions each partner institution can bring. A major focus of the discussion was the role of secondments in promoting knowledge transfer and strengthening international collaboration among partner institutions. Participants explored how mobility can support research capacity-building and foster long-term scientific connections.
The meeting also featured scientific presentations from the participating research teams. Dr. Fatih Erci introduced the MEDISEN team, sharing insights into the group’s research interests, ongoing activities and key scientific achievements.
Following this, Dr. Iuliana Biru presented the work of the Advanced Polymer Materials Group, outlining current directions and demonstrating their expertise.
