Four experienced researchers, Professor Simina Daniela STEFAN, Associate Professor Nicoleta Daniela IGNAT, Lecturer Madelene Annette DANCILA and Professor Claudia Maria SIMONESCU in research secondment at Turkish company MEDISEN in the frame of Marie Skłodowska-Curie NANOEMCA project have been welcomed, visiting and held discussions with members of the Necmettin Erbakan University Science and Technology Research and Application Center (BİTAM), including Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Ihsan OZGUN and Postdoctoral Researcher Doğan Çetin.

The meeting provided an opportunity to present the objectives and activities of the NANOEMCA project, highlighting the collaboration established with Turkish research team coordinated by Prof. Ibrahim Işıldak.

The participants also reaffirmed the commitment of both BITAM and POLITEHNICA Bucharest to expanding interdisciplinary partnerships in areas such as nanomaterials, biomedical technologies, environmental and public health, policy development, and future collaborative scientific initiatives.
