They also attended dedicated training sessions on the main materials characterization techniques available at the laboratory, such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The secondments, supervised by Lavinia BALAN, CNRS Research Director, provided the seconded staff with both theoretical background and practical exposure to advanced characterization methods used in materials research. Furthermore, these secondments represent an important step in strengthening international scientific cooperation under the NANOEMCA project.
