During the secondment at National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Romania (POLITEHNICA), the international researchers MSc. Selim ISILDAK, specialist in chemistry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Ihsan OZGUN, expert in metallurgy and materials, and BSc. Ensar KANAT, specialist in biotechnology, from the Turkish company the Medikal Teknolojiler Araştırma Geliştirme Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi (MEDISEN) welcomed for a visit to MGM Star Construct (MGM), a partner organisation in the project. The Turkish researchers have been guided by Associated Professor Dr. Emanuela Mihaela Craciun from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnologies.

Researchers have been introduced to advanced physical and chemical deposition processes (PVD, CVD), coating characterization, lithography technologies, optical component manufacturing, and precision mechanical production by the Scientific Director Phys. Arcadie Sobetkii.

Mr. Arcadie Sobetkii also presented the main research and development (R&D) activities of MGM, highlighting synergies with other European research initiatives, including the MSCA Staff Exchanges project ARTVOC (“Volatilomics approaches to improve success rates in assisted reproduction technology”, of the European Commission, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Staff Exchanges, Grant Agreement No. 101131151) and shared key results to foster knowledge exchange with the visiting researchers.

The MEDISEN research team expressed strong appreciation for the visit, particularly for MGM’s expertise in research and innovation and its experience in implementing European projects.
